Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar visited the much acclaimed dfv Mediengruppe in Frankfurt and interacted with Mr. Sönke Reimers, Managing Director of the Group. Discussions revolved around the global operations of the Media Group and their plans for India. Founded in the year 1946, today the dfv media group is one of the most successful companies in the industry in Germany and Europe and is the organiser of the annual Euro Finance Week in Frankfurt, a one stop shop for all the European and German financial institutions to discuss business

Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar attended an evening of International and Indian dance and music festival organised by the city of Kelsterbach and KfK e.V on 21st April, 2018. The event was attended by around 300 people from Indian and German community.

On 25th April, Secretary for Department of Heavy Industries, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises (India), Dr. A.R. Sihag and Director, Ms. Ritu Pande visited the PTW: Institut für Produktionsmanagement, Technologie und Werkzeugmaschinen Werkzeugmaschinen followed by a tour of the ETA Fabrik at the Technische Universität Darmstadt. The visit was organised in coordination with Confederation of Indian Industry, EEPC INDIA as part of a delegation visit as part of their Mission on Smart Manufacturing to Germany

Consulate General of India Frankfurt organized Students’ Open House for Indian students studying at various universities in Germany on 27th April at its premises in Frankfurt. The main concern of the students after the completion of the studies is looking for a job. The Open House this time addressed this concern, which is a bi-annual event since 2014. The objective of the event is to provide the students with a platform to openly discuss their study, work and life in Germany as well as to give them an opportunity to share their experiences among each other. Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar, welcomed the students and encouraged them for regular interactions to know more about their problems and suggestions

Consul General inaugurated an annual cultural evening organized by Frankfurt Tamil Sangam on 29 April in Frankfurt. During the programme FTS showcased various aspects of Indian culture such as Yoga, martial arts, classical dance and folk dances from the state of Tamil Nadu

Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar visited the Raja Yoga Meditation school by Brahma Kumaris in Frankfurt and met Didi Sudesh, who is the Director of all the BKWSU centers in Germany and in Europe. CG invited the Raja Yoga Meditation school for participating at the 4th International Day of Yoga celebration organised by the Consulate on 23rd June, 2018 at Walther-von-Cronberg-Platz Frankfurt.
