Exploring possibilities of Indo-German cooperation in the field of Cinema! Consul General Ms Pratibha Parkar had a meeting with the new Director of German Film institute and Film museum Ms. Ellen M. Harrington and Ms. Natascha Gikas, the head of the Cinema Department, Frankfurt. Consul General briefed the Director about the Indian Cinema and its popularity worldwide. During the meeting possibilities of cooperation in promoting Indian Films in Germany and putting exhibitions and conducting lectures on topics based on Indian Films/Cinema were explored.

Mr. Siegler is the member of the Supervisory Board of the football sports club Frankfurt and also member of the Supervisory Board of Verein Arbeits - und Erziehungshilfe e. V., the Praunheimer Werkstätten e. V., the Frankfurt Association for care for the elderly and the disabled e. V., Kolping Bildungswerk e. V. and KiBiz e. V. Mr. Siegler is visiting India with FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH business delegation in May, 2018

There is a long standing and a strong economic relation between Hesse and India. 50% of India investment to Germany is in the state of Hesse. There are more than 12 thousand Indians living in Hesse and there are several Indian companies based in Frankfurt
