    Consul General Mrs Pratibha Parkar attended a brainstorming session on German economy and polity and ways to enhance cooperation between India and Germany with the Indian business community. The key note speaker was Dr. Lutz Raettig, Chairman of Supervisory Board of Morgan Stanley Bank.

    Consul General Mrs Pratibha Parkar visited the art museum Liebighaus in Frankfurt. She was received by Mr. Vinzenz Brinkmann, a German classical archaeologist and Head of Antiquities Collection of Liebighaus. They discussed the significance of art, culture and history and ways to showcase India’s rich heritage in Germany.

    The Food Ingredients Europe 2017 (Fi Europe) was held concurrently with the Natural Ingredients Europe (Ni) fair from 28-30th November in Frankfurt. The India Pavilion organized by the Spices Board was officially inaugurated by Shri Prem Singh Chauhan, Consul (HOC/E&C), which was followed by a tour of the fair and interaction with some of the Indian exhibitors.

    Tax Consultants, Rdl & Partner, organized an event to discuss the Goods & Services Tax, which was introduced by the Government of India on 1st July 2017. The objective of the event was to discuss topics relevant to the German businesses in India with reference to sales and marketing opportunities for B2B and B2C; effects of GST on 100% subsidiaries owned by German companies.

    The final series of "India meets FrankfurtRheinMain - Let's talk business!" for 2017 was held at Wirtschaftsforderung Frankfurt - Frankfurt Economic Development - GmbH on 29 November 2017. The event was dedicated to the topic: Start-up. Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar threw light on the Startup Revolution in India and the initiatives launched by the Indian Govt. to foster and support the Startup Culture.

    The 10th edition of the German-India Round Table (GIRT) Frankfurt was held on 30th November. The guest speaker for the event was Mr. Vinay Roy, Khaitan & Co.. Mr. Roy spoke on 'Labour law issues affecting Indian subsidiaries'. Consul General Ms. Parkar welcomed the participants whilst the President, GIRT Frankfurt, Dr. Johannes Weisser moderated the session.
