Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar called upon Mr. Thomas Geisel, Mayor of Düsseldorf on 6 Jan. 2020 and discussed the possibility of organising more Indo-German events in the City in 2020.

The last meeting for the year of India Business Forum’s (IBF) Executive Committee on 18 December saw the presence of Prof Kristina Sinemus, Minister for Digitalisation for the state of Hessen.

Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar visited the University of Trier on 20th November 2019 and discussed about more active and deep cooperation with Indian universities with Prof. Dr. Michael Jäckel, the President of the University.

Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar was welcomed by the Vice Rector of the University of Duisburg-Essen, Prof. Dr. Barbara Buchenau on 26th November during her first visit to the University.

Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar gave the welcome remarks as the Chief Guest at a symposium organized by University of Mainz titled '150 Years Gandhi’ on 14 November 2019.

The celebration of the 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev in Frankfurt on 9 November 2019 saw a huge attendance by Indian community. The programme included Path Shri Sukhmani Sahib, Shabad Kirtan, address by the Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar and Guru Ka Langar.

Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar met Dr. Hubertus Hille, Managing Director Chamber of Commerce-Bonn/Rhein-Sieg on 8 November 2019 and briefed him about the latest Economic reforms in India.
