Sneham e.V (south Indian association Bonn) organised a post Deepawali Utsav on 11 November at the Sporthalle Bonn where Consul (PPIC) represented the Consulate at the celebrations.

Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar visited the strategic city of Düsseldorf on 14th November 2017. As part of the Consulate's economic outreach, CG visited the diversified retail and wholesale/cash and carry group Metro at its headquarters and interacted with Ms. Ivonne Bollow, Head of Eastern Europe& International Affairs Corporate Public Policy on the Group's progress and the expansion plans for India.

On the same day (14th November 2017) CG also visited IHK Düsseldorf and interacted with Dr. Gerhard Eschenbaum, MD, International, Projects, Committees & Mr. Dirk Matter, Managing Director, Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, headquartered in Düsseldorf.

Consul (E&C/HOC), Shri Prem Singh Chauhan and Marketing Asst. Ms. Sonja Meuters visited the Medica Trade fair on 16th November 2017 in Düsselsdorf and interacted with some of the Indian exhibitors. He also interacted with Mr. Horst Giesen, Project Director, Medica, Messe Düsseldorf on the overall trade relations between India and Germany in the medical sector.
