    On a special request by the members of the Indian community, a Consular Camp was organised at Gurudwara Nanaksar in Essen on 28th July. Consul(Consular) Mr. A. N. Ohja and the Consular Team conducted an informative session, helpful in solving the problems of the people from Essen.

    A group of members from Shri Guru Ravidass ji e.V (Germany) met Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar at her office in Frankfurt on 31.7.19

    Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar visited the Centre of Empirical Studies in Goethe University in Frankfurt where Hindi, Sanskrit, Prakrit and Ardh-Magadhi are taught. Ms. Parkar met Prof. Dr. Jost Gippert, the Director of the Institute of Empirical Linguistics.

    Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar met Sister Shivani, motivational speaker from Brahmkumaris Organisation, who is on an AwakeningTour in Europe. Consul General also attended her talk.

    Acting Consul General Ms. Ruby Jaspreet visited yesterday Siegen University where she met Prof. Dr. Bhaskar Choubey, Chair of Analogue Circuits and Image Sensors. They discussed possibilities of cooperation between University and the Consulate.

    Acting Consul General Ms. Ruby Jaspreet hosted an interaction on 12th July with a group of young Indian Scientists. The young Indian boys and girls were participants of the Post Lindau Tour 2019.

    Acting Consul General Ms. Ruby Jaspreet and the commercial team visited the headquarters of The European Academy of Ayurveda in Birstein and took a tour of the campus with founder Director Mr. Mark Rosenberg. Possible areas of collaboration between India and Germany in the field of Ayurvedic Sciences were discussed.

    Dr. Sivakaran Namboothiri conducted a lecture on Veda and Ayurveda at the Consulate. Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar welcomed Dr. Namboothiri and the other participants.

    Consul (Commerce) Ms. Ruby Jaspreet visited Pflegedienst Raunheim and interacted with the coordinators Mr. Surinder Kumar and Mr. Rahul Kumar. She interacted with the staff providing specially tailored services at home for the elderly and those recuperating from a medical illness.

    Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar visited University Kassel and met Prof Dr Reiner Finkeldey, President, University of Kassel. They discussed current issues of higher education in India and Germany. Dr Randolf Oberschmidt, Head of the Division,Internationalisation and International Cooperations gave a presentation on the university.. They also had a discussion about the fruitfulness of the program for Indian students. There are around 117 Indian students at the university.
