Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar officially inaugurated the newly opened Heritage Ayurveda and Yoga center in Winterkasten, Lindenfels on 12 September, 2018. On the occasion were also present the Mayor of Lindenfels, Mr. Michael Helbig and Ayurveda doctors and therapists. Mr. Suby Dominic, the Director of the the center welcomed all the guests on the special occasion, followed by the inaugural speech of the Consul General and the Mayor

On 11th September 2018 Consul General of India, Frankfurt, Ms. Pratibha Parkar visited the Automechanika Trade fair at Messe Frankfurt and officially inaugurated the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA) & Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) India Pavilion at the fair grounds. The Consul General met officials from ACMA & EEPC and visited the stands of Indian exhibitors and interacted with them

Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar met the Member of European Parliament, Mr. Michael Gahler in his Hessen Office in Gross Gerau. They discussed the relations between India and Europe and India and Germany as well

Castle Büdingen this year had the theme ‘colorful India’ for their 15th castle party which was held from 30th August to 2nd September, 2018. The town of Büdingen and other nearby places experienced a traditional firework of colors, fancy accessories, dances and culinary delights from India. The opening ceremony of the event on 30th August was attended by Consul (Press, Info & Culture) Ms. Soni Dahiya on behalf of the Consulate, colleague from India tourism office, the Royal family of the Castle and the organizing team
