Indo-German Society (DIG) Mainz, with the support of CGI Frankfurt organized an Indian classical concert by the Maharaj Trio on 30th June at the Christus Church, Mainz, to promote Indian culture and music in Germany. The Maharaj Trio is an instrumental trio of classical Indian music in sarod played by Yash Bharati Awardee Pandit Vikash Maharaj ji, sitar by Abhishek Maharaj and tabla by Prabhash Maharaj. The Chairman of DIG Mainz, Dr. Jacob Tharakan and Consul (Pol., Press, info and culture), Ms. Soni Dahiya delivered the welcomed address. Around 200 people from German community and members of DIG Mainz attended the concert.
