Hon'ble Vice President of India, Shri Hamid Ansari transited via Frankfurt enroute to India after a successful attendance at 17th NAM summit in Venezuela.

From 9th to 11th September 2016 over 250 doctors, therapists and health professionals from India and Europe met on the Campus of the European Academy of Ayurveda in Birstein, Germany on the occasion of the 18th International Ayurveda Symposium, a congress focusing on traditional Indian medicine in Europe.

On 13th September Consul General of India, Frankfurt, Shri Raveesh Kumar visited the International trade fair for the automotive industry - Automechanika - and officially inaugurated the ACMA India Pavilion at the Fair grounds.

CGI Frankfurt welcomes its new batch of candidates for the winter semester of hindi classes!

A 29 member delegation of Public Sector Enterprises from India visited the Consulate General of India Frankfurt as part of their Advanced Global Leadership Programme 2016 organised by IIM Calcutta/Kolkata. Consul General addressed the delegation and gave an overview of the Indo-German bilateral relations.

On 19 August 2016, CGI Frankfurt organised a Networking event on board the 'Wolfgang von Goethe' ship on the occasion of 2 years of the 'Make in India' campaign launched by the Government of India in 2014 to promote and attract foreign investment into India Frankfurt. In his welcome remarks Consul General Mr. Raveesh Kumar highlighted that Germany has been an important economic and trade partner for India which has also been reflected in the rising investment figures over the last two years between the two countries. He also thanked the audience for their whole hearted support towards the MII initiative and for their active contribution towards bringing the two countries closer.
