As part of CGI Frankfurt's 'Make in India' outreach, Consul General Mr. Raveesh Kumar visited the Institut fur Textiltechnik Aachen, and German companies in Dortmund and its surrounding region.

On 19th November Bharat Verein e.V celebrated its annual Deepawali function amongst a lot of festivity. Consul General was the chief guest at the event. Several classical and semi classical performances were put up by the Indian diaspora from the region. Over 600 people participated in the festivities.

Frankfurt Tamil Sangam (FTS), celebrated Diwali on 5 November, 2016 with over 450 attendees. The event included various cultural performances by FTS members family, fire works, south indian food Stall ,homemade sweets & snacks mehandi ,crackers stalls and much more.

CGI Frankfurt celebrated the 141st Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's on 31st October, 2016, at the Consulate premises, to highlight his work and life.

Consul General Raveesh Kumar met the Minister of Economics, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture for the State of Rhineland Palatinate Dr. Volker Wissing at the Ministry's Chancery premises in Mainz. The discussions were a precursor to the business delegation led by the Minister to India from 19th-27th November 2016. Over 28 delegates representing sectors ranging from chemicals, IT to wellness and viticulture as well as over 10 Parliamentarians will join the Minister for the visit to strengthen ties between India and Rhineland Palatinate.

Hon'ble Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers of India Shri Ananth Kumar inaugurated the India Pavilion at K Messe Düsseldorf 2016 and addressed the Indian exhibitors present at the inauguration. K Messe Düsseldorf is the worlds largest trade fair for plastics, rubber and plastics processing . Over 3000 national and international exhibitors participate in the trade fair showcasing machinery and equipment, raw and auxiliary materials as well semi-finished products, technical parts and reinforced plastics. In 2016, around 105 Indian exhibitors are participating in the trade fair which will be held from 19th October until 26th October.

On 15 & 16 October 2016 the 2nd European World Ayurveda Congress (EWAC#) was held in Koblenz organised by the European Ayurveda Association e.V (EUAA) in cooperation with the Ministry of AYUSH.Hon'ble Minister of AYUSH, Shri Shripad Yesso Naik addressed the Congress alongwith Ambassador of India to Germany Shri Gurjit Singh.
