Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar met Ms. Rohena Gera, Director of the Film, ´´DIE SCHNEIDER DER TRÄUME´´ & Mr. Torsten Frehse, Managing director Neue Visionen Filmverleih (New Vision Film Distributor), Berlin on 3rd Dec 2018 at the premiere screening of the movie at CINEMA, Rossmarkt 7, Frankfurt. DIE SCHNEIDERIN DER TRÄUME was presented at the Braunschweig International Film Festival and was awarded the coveted audience prize.

On 06th December an leadership round table on 'Partnerships and Progress: Opportunities for Indo-German Collaboration in the digital era' was organised by CGI Frankfurt in cooperation with HCL Technologies at the Stadthaus Frankfurt. Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar spoke on the initiatives that have been undertaken by the Government of India on digitalisation and financial inclusion thanks to the rapidly developing digital infrastructure as part of the 'Digital India' campaign launched in 2015. Remarks were also given by Mr. Hirren Turakhia, Global Head of Industrial and Digital Manufacturing, HCL. Mr. Rolf Krämer from Hessian Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transport and Regional Development made a presentation on the digital initiatives undertaken by the State of Hessen, Germany and the State's contribution towards the overall German economy. A presentation was delivered by Rene Wolf, EVP, Siemens Digital Factory Division on 'Creating a Practical Pathway to Industry 4.0'

The Municipal representation of foreigners (KAV) of the city of Frankfurt honored the outstanding personalities with a migration from the fields of culture, economics, science and education, who have made significant contributions to and for Frankfurt on 06.12.2018. This year 37 people were honored (with migration background from 30 countries). This also included two Indians Mr. Benesh Joseph (Scientist, Goethe University, Frankfurt) and Mr. Jaskaran Singh (student at Frankfurt Schools of Economics).
