    Investor Round Table in Frankfurt

    On the 8th December, Phillips University Marburg organised an "India Day" in cooperation with CGI Frankfurt.

    On 3rd December, Consul General Mr. Raveesh Kumar met with Dr. Jan Glockauer, Managing Director, IHK Trier. The Chamber of Commerce represents 28,000 companies in their region with approximately 90,000 employees. The Chamber, as part of their activities also supervise 1,400 companies who offer vocational training and 4,500 apprentices in 130 qualified jobs.     As part of the Consulate's outreach activities Consul General visited and interacted with companies in the states of Hessen, Germany and Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany on 2nd and 3rd December 2015. Major topics on the agenda were Make In India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare-Government of India, National Disaster Management Authority and more. The companies visited are Satisloh GmbH,Westerwaelder Eisenwerke GmbH,M+C Schiffer GmbH and Kuettner Automation GmbH ,which are experts in niche areas of manufacturing and development

    Consulate General of India in association with the Ministerium fur Wirtschaft, Klimaschutz, Energie und Landesplanung Rheinland-Pfalz on "Make in India: New Perspectives for the economy of Rhineland Palatinate". The welcome remarks for the event were delivered by Eveline Lemke, Hon'ble Minister for Economic Affairs, Climate Protection, Energy and Regional Planning as well as the Vice President for the state of Rhineland Palatinate and Consul General of India Frankfurt, Mr. Raveesh Kumar. Presentations were made by representatives from German Centre Gurgaon-Delhi, Dr.Wamser+Batra GmbH and KSB Tech Pvt. Ltd.

    The event was held in Mainz, the capital of the State of Rhineland Palatinate and was attended by 80 participants, representing over 60 firms from the region.

    From 18-19 November 2015, the India Leather Days, Germany, took place in Offenbach. The India Leather Days, Germany, are a standalone event organised by the Council for Leather Exports (CLE) in cooperation with Messe Offenbach at Offenbach trade fair grounds. 2015 marked the fourth edition of the trade fair. Consul General Mr. Raveesh Kumar inaugurated the India Pavillion and Head of Chancery Mr. Subhash Chand addressed the gathering.
