    The industry-related trade fair quartet GIFA 2015, the 13th International Foundry Trade Fair, NEWCAST 2015, 4th International Trade Fair for Castings, METEC 2015, 9th International Metallurgical Technology Trade Fair with Congresses as well as THERMPROCESS 2015, 11th International Trade Fair and Symposium for Thermo Process Technology, was held under the motto â_x0080__x009c_The Bright World of Metalsâ_x0080__x009d_. The trade fair quartet is organized every four years at the Düsseldorf trade fair grounds. 98 Indian Exhibitors participated in the GIFA / NEWCAST / THERMPROCESS / METEC 2015 trade fair quartet which constitutes the largest Indian participation ever. EEPC India organized an India Pavilion at GIFA / NEWCAST 2015 with 50 member companies from Foundry, Casting, Forging and Melting Sectors which showcased their products and capabilities on an area of approx. 450 sq. mtrs. The India Pavilion was officially inaugurated by Shri Subhash Chand, Consul (E&C / HOC), on 16th June 2015 by a ribbon cutting ceremony. The Opening Ceremony was followed by a tour of the fair in the course of which the Consul interacted with the Indian exhibitors.

    Make in India' Initiative: Follow up after Hannover Messe - Data Security & Confidentiality in Germany

    The Consulate General of India, Frankfurt organised a 'Doing business with India' Networking session in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce, Darmstadt Rhein Main Neckar. The aim of the session was to provide a platform for the companies within the Rhein Main Neckar region to share their companies' 'India story' and why it is important to Make In India. The Speakers gave insights on the judicial and tax system in India as well as intercultural contrasts between the Indian and German working methodologies. Over 50 participants attended the event.
