    Infosys Germany organised a Panel discussion on BalanceforBetter and Passion for Performance to mark the occasion of Womens' Day at their Frankfurt headquarters. Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar, shared her views on working and career women from a diplomat's perspective. Other panelists included representatives from Infosys and Commerzbank. The session was moderated by Ms. Lilly Vasanthini, Associate Vice President & Germany Head - Delivery & Operations, Infosys Technologies and attended by Infosys employees.

    Consul (Commerce) Ms. Ruby Jaspreet and the Commercial team from CGI Frankfurt visited IHK Offenbach today and met Ms. Silvia Schubert-Kester, Referentin International Department. Issues of furthering bilateral trade between India and German investment were discussed.

    On 9th March 2019 Strothoff International School had organized Open House. The parents of the students were invited by the school to visit the Gandhi exhibition. The Prize winners of the Essay competition on 'Be the change, you want to see in the World'were awarded by Consul General followed by a tree plantation ceremony by Ms. Parkar & Mr. Sheepens, head of the School.

    Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar visited the International School on the Rhine(ISR) in Neuss and met Mr. Peter Soliman,CEO and Ms.Eileen Lyones, Director of the school and discussed different programmes of cooperation at various levels. They had a very positive and fruitful discussion on various areas of working together. Ms. Parkar was given a very warm welcome by the Indian students ranging from Kindergarten to higher grades. Consul General was shown around the school

    Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar attended a preparatory meeting organized for the members of the Indian Associations in NRW region for the upcoming event, 'Indien Fest' on 29th June 2019 at Neumarkt, Cologne. It will be a day-long event with Indian cultural performances, food stalls, shops with Indian handicrafts & much more. More details to be followed.

    Consul (Commerce) Ms. Ruby Jaspreet, along with the Commercial team, met Mr. Bernd Hummel, founder of hummel group. Mr. Hummel shared his experience of the success of KangaROOS and Flip*Flop brands and how they emerged as leading shoe producers in the international market.

    Consul General, Ms. Pratibha Parkar met with Dr. Anuradha Doddaballapur, Captain of the German Women's National team and Mr. Abhijit Khan Head Coach of German U19 Cricket Team who represented the Frankfurt International Cricket Academy and discussed opportunities for actively popularizing Cricket in the Indo-German Community. Also present at the meeting were Bimal Roy, Chairman and Kamal Vatsain, President HCA (Hesen Cricket Association, Frankfurt) who have been actively organizing Cricket tournaments for Indo-German Cricket Lovers in the state.

Claas, a leading German agricultural machinery manufacturer, has a huge presence across India, with a production unit in Morinda, near Chandigarh.
