    Consulate General of India celebrated ‘’Indra Dhanush- Wir Lieben das Leben’’, a cultural extravaganza at Eschborn on 11. 05. Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar, in her opening remarks, introduced the beauty of Indian dance & music to the enthusiastic German diaspora from the city of Eschborn. The event was supported by Eschborn City authorities under the aegis of Mayor of Eschborn Mr. Mathias Geiger.

    Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar visited Gurudwara Nanaksar Sat Sang Darbar in Essen and interacted with the members of the Indian Sikh community.

    Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar visited the Continental Teves AG & Co. oHG facility in Frankfurt as part of a Smart Manufacturing delegation led by Confederation of Indian Industry as part of CII's Annual Mission to Germany for Indian companies to get insights from the German research, science and technology.

    For providing legal counselling to Indian women, CGI Frankfurt launched DilKiBaat: Women’s Open House on 5th April. A series of counselling sessions guiding women on legal recourse available in cases of marital disputes will be organised by the Consulate. The first in this series had reputed family lawyer Ms. Katharina Dylus speak about German law and options available to women in distress.

    Telugu Velugu Germany e.V celebrated Ugadi (new year day festively observed in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, states in India), in a very traditional and cultural way. Many Indian dance & music performances were put by the local artists and children of the Indian diaspora. Consul (Press,Info. & Culture) Ms. Soni Dahiya attended the celebration and conveyed her greetings on behalf of the Consulate to all the members of the association.

    Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar visited the Technical University Dortmund in Dortmund, North-Rhine Westphalia and met with Dr. Barbara Schneider, Director of International Office along with Ms. Sonja Breiholtz, International Admissions Office, Ms. Kirsten Lindnerâ_x0080__x0090_Schwentick, Coordinator teaching and studies, Faculty of Biochemical and Chemical Engineering, Ms. Nena Amponsah, International Coordinator, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Prof. Dr. Christian Wöhler, coordinating Professor Master Study Course â_x0080__x009e_Automation and Roboticsâ_x0080__x009c_, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology.Dr. Schneider gave a detailed power-point presentation about the courses, faculties and their diverse activities.

    Diasporic Gandhi'- Study India- lectures were organised by University of Muenster by Profs. from University of Mumbai on the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi with a special exhibition on Gandhi ji's life & India's freedom struggle. Prof. Dr. Klaus Stierstorfer, Vice Dean and Director, Study India Programme, University of Muenster gave the welcome address and updated on the Study India exchange programme between the Uni. Muenster and Uni. Mumbai. CG Ms. Pratibha Parkar delivered the opening remarks and talked about Gandhi ji's concept of non violence and nonviolent resistance.

    CGI Frankfurt organised an event on 'Artificial Intelligence-Beyond the Hype; Real Time, Relevant Data & analytics for more Aha moments' in cooperation with Innoplexus AG, headquartered in Eschborn. CG Ms. Pratibha Parkar opened the session and spoke briefly about the Indian government's initiatives in the field of Artificial Intelligence contributing to the technological advancement of India.

    Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar met with the co-partner for the upcoming event ``Indra Dhanush``, Mayor of Eschborn Mr. Mathias Geiger.It´s a cultural evening with Indian traditional as well as modern dances & music on 11th May 2019 from 17:00 to 20:30 hrs at Bürgerzentrum Niederhöchstadt Eschborn.

    The 550th Birth Anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji & the festival of Baisakhi was celebrated in Frankfurt with joyful enthusiasm and liveliness. The event was organised by the Consulate in collaboration with the members of Indian community living in Germany.
