Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar visited the Viniversum/BergstraesserWinzer in Heppenheim and met Dr. Patrick Staub, Managing Director. The discussions revolved around grape harvesting and wine production and the possibilities of technology exchange to Indian farmers in potential wine growing regions in India.

On 28th March 2019, Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar accompanied by Consul (PIC) Ms. Soni Dahiya & CGI Official met Ms. Gabriele Schorn, Deputy head of Anna-Schmidt Schule in Frankfurt. Its one of the oldest private schools in Germany founded in 1886 by Anna Schmidt. During the meeting, possibilities were explored for organizing a celebration of GandhiAt150 Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at the School.

Consul Commercial, Ms. Ruby Jaspreet, met Mr. Dirk Goeldner, Centermanager of the Euromoda Fashion Business Center in Düsseldorf/Neuss to discuss a possible partnership with Indian exporters in the fashion sector. Consul Commercial then took a tour of the Euromoda Fashion Business Center and interacted with international shop owners.

Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar accompanied by Ms. Soni Dahiya, Consul(PIC) met Mayor of Sulzbach, Mr. Elmar Bociek and his colleague Mr. Holger Kink to discuss about the celebration of Gandhi@150 in the town of Sulzbach. During the meeting it was decided to plant trees in the town on world environment day and ideas were shared to install Gandhi bust in the town in the coming months.

Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar and Consul (Press, Info & Culture) attended an event organised by Hessischer Kreis (Hessian Circle e.V), association of top leaders from the Rhine-Main area, which has existed for 60 years. Mr. Jimmy Fussing Nielsen, Partner and CO-Founder @Heartcore Captial held a talk on ‘A new Game- How Artificial Intelligence will change the Rules in Business.

Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar met and interacted with the representatives of BVMW FrankfurtRheinMain, Association of Small and Medium Enterprises at CGI Frankfurt premises. As part of the discussions, collaboration between Indian and German SMEs was highlighted as well as the vital role of BVMW towards their further expansion.

The high power Committee (HPIC) of the Government of Kerala organised in collaboration with CGI Frankfurt a roadshow on FUTURE: Global connect Session in Frankfurt. Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar welcomed the participants at the roadshow while keynotes were delivered by Mr. Shibulal, Co-Founder Infosys and CEO HPIC; Mr. V.K.Mathews, Founder & Executive Chairman, IBS Software. Best practices were shared by Mr. Roland Schütz, Group CIO, Lufthansa Group; Mr. Subi Rangan, INSEAD and Mr. Ulrich Gerhardt, MD, Taurus Investment Holding (Deutschland). Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mr. Hrishikesh Nair, CEO-IT Parks, Kerala and Member HPIC, while the event was moderated by Mr. Arun Balachandran, Chief Minister's Fellow.
