CGI Frankfurt hosted a roadshow on Vibrant Terry Towel to promote the Vibrant Terry Towel Global Expo and Summit 2019 scheduled to be held in Solapur, Maharashtra from 25-27 September 2019. Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar rendered the Opening remarks at the session and welcomed the assembled participants.

CG Ms. Pratibha Parkar & DC Handicrafts, Mr. Shantmanu Ministry of Textiles, Government of India inaugurate India Pavillion EPCH India & visited Handloom Export Promotion Council.

CGI Frankfurt organised a demonstration and interactive session with four Master craftsperson from India, National Awardees and Shilp Gurus, currently showcasing their traditional handicrafts at Ambiente 2019. Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar welcomed the artists and the gathered participants. Also present was Mr. Kerry Reddington, Member of the Foreigners' Council, City of Frankfurt.

On 22 January 2019 Consul General Ms.Pratibha Parkar attended the Indo German Science and Technology Centre (IGSTC) Governing Board Meeting at the Institut für Textiltechnik (ITA) of RWTH Aachen University. It was the project initiation meeting for two Indo-German projects that were granted to ITA this year. Dr. Thomas Gries, Director of ITA –RWTH welcomed the guests. Consul General addressed and welcomed the guests and hoped that Indo-German educational and research collaborations are going to strengthen and deepen in the coming future

Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar and Consul (PIC) with the Mayor of Eschborn Mr. Mathias Geiger at the New Year reception hosted by the city. The Consulate in cooperation with the town will be organizing a cultural event on 11 May,this year

Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar visited the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Kleve and met with Prof.Dr. Eberhard Menzel, who is the Interim appointee of the office of President. Prof. Menzel gave a detailed power-point presentation about the courses, faculties and their diverse activities. Consul General discussed with the president the possibility of cooperation with Indian university and exchange programme for students and faculty

Consul (HOC), Shri Prem Singh Chauhan visited the Christmasworld Fair on 25th January 2019 and officially inaugurated the India Pavilion organized by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry by a ribbon cutting ceremony. The opening ceremony was followed by a tour of the fair in the course of which the Consul (HOC) interacted with some of the Indian Exhibitors

On 24th January Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar along with the members of Indian community met the Lord Mayor of Darmstadt Mr. Jochen Partsch and explored opportunities of future cooperation with the city. CG also thanked the city for Honoring Mahatma Gandhi and naming one of its street after his name "MAHATMA-GANDHI-STRASSE
