    A Media Press Conference followed by lunch was organized today at the Consulate's premises. Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar welcomed the Press reporters & the yoga partners. Mr. Feroze Khan (European Yoga Institute) & Mr. Karthik Jeganathan (Art of Living) conducted some live Yoga demonstrations to brief the participants on Yoga/Pranayama - its benefits in the day to day life. CGI Frankfurt with the support of Ordnungsamt, Frankfurt, Sponsors of the event & Yoga partners is organizing International Day of Yoga (IDY) on 23rd June 2018 from 15:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs Walther-von-Cronberg-Platz, Frankfurt.     Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar called upon the Mayor of Bad Nauheim Mr. Klaus Kress today and had a good and positive discussion on issues relevant to both the countries.The main topic of discussion was organizing a cultural programme on the lines of India Day in the City of Bad Nauheim. Bad Nauheim, also known as Health city is one of the most beautiful cities in Hesse, known for its health and wellness thermal spas and Rose Museum. Mr. Kress said that the people of his city are admirers of Indian culture. The possibility of organizing a programme based on Yoga and Ayurveda and Student Exchange programme in cooperation with the city was also discussed

    CGI Frankfurt screened the docu-film 'Udaharnarth Nemade', directed by Akshay Indikar at the CGI premises. The documentary showcased some of the excerpts from the well known works of Marathi writer, poet, critic and linguistic scholar from Maharashtra, Shri Bhalchandra Vanaji Nemade (b. 1939). Well known for his contributions to the modern Marathi literature, such as 'Khosla', the author is a recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Award as well as the Jnanapith Award, the highest literary honour in India. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 2013

    Commemorating 100 years on Champaran Satyagraha! CGI Frankfurt organized an online quiz through social media platform from 11th to 16th April, 2018 to commemorate 100 years of Champaran Satyagraha. The members of the local Indian community actively participated in the quiz. Consul General Ms. Pratibha Parkar today felicitated and awarded the winners of the quiz Mr. Rahul Shinde and Mr. Senthil Kumar Rajagopal at her office.

The event was attended by around 300 people from Indian and German community.
